Presentation
I am a CNRS researcher,
member of the applied math department of Grenoble University
(LJK, Lab. Jean Kunztmann)
and currently hosted by INRIA.
My fields of expertise are
related to optimization.
In my research, I try to keep a balance between theoretical questions and
practical problems, believing that both should interact.
So I am involved in applications of optimization
to real-life problems (e.g. mechanics, energy production managment)
and to other disciplins of applied maths (e.g. combinatorics, statistics).
Prize for young researcher in operations research
Happy and proud, I received the Robert Faure Prize of the French Operations Research Society (ROADEF). Every 3 years, this prize rewards a young researcher (under 35) in optimization and operations research, in France. Some details in the post (in french). This was chosen as one of the main 2009-2010 highlights of my lab. LJK
